I’ll Go

Standard

something will kill me
a falling beam
sudden sink hole
cells gone rogue
swells escaped from melting glaciers
very bad cheese

somewhere
up ahead
my doom
roosts

and that will be all

I’ll leave nothing
but used tissue
and mess to be sponged

unless I somehow manage to prick
the fiercest of muscles
tattoo my embrace
in bottomless places
