Man Crush

Standard

He couldn’t contain himself
arms wrapped under the shelf of his girlfriend’s party-balloons like bosom
as she leaned her back against his chest
his attention remained unshakably fixed
on Colin
on stage

The turkey, avocado, applewood bacon panini with cheese and aioli
cooled in my hand as I watched him
watch Him

The thin man whooped
carried on an enthusiastic
off of beat
solo
clapping campaign
always
at all the wrong times

More than a fan

More than transported with joy

Man crush

as Colin called it
