Which Cover?

Tirzah from A Clever Whatever kindly created two options for a book cover for my NaNoWriMo project.  How sweet is she to do that for free for Wrimos?  Which one do you like?

Draft Title — Raising Monsters

Draft Synopsis (maybe? 🙂 When Mira is three, she is uprooted from her opulent home in Minneapolis and moves with her father to Baltimore to begin an entirely new life in a row house with two unusual housemates. The 5 year-old boy, Cal, is viewed by his mother as a monster, because of his disabilities and his disposition. Mira befriends Cal and tries to teach him to speak, to behave like a little boy, and about kindness and love. When a man moves into the row house two down from Cal and Mira, he tries to befriend the children, especially Cal. Will what Mira has taught Cal override the lure of what the new neighbor convinces Cal he should do to correct the injustices in his life? Will Cal let his caged inner monster loose on the world?

  1. HI
I think the second one ( that cover with two children) is better ,
because two children are moving( traveling in a road) which is very imaginably and imaginative than
    other one.
    good luck. Torabi

  2. Tirzah — I’m so grateful and very, very appreciative of your thoughtfulness and encouragement to the Wrimo community. Are you going to do NaNo this year? I love your poetry. Thanks again — and I am going with the two children version of the cover. I like it! Can’t wait for 11/1.
