Shut Up Already

Not more about grief
Please stop
Enough about loss
and despair

Your endless melancholy
has become an intense drag
No metaphors or similes
Cease with the meaningful analogies

Cast the shit off
We’ve got tragedy fatigue
Write about fluffy bunnies instead
The texture of homemade banana pudding

Get over it already
Everything dies
Your lament is unoriginal

To live is to die
Every dolt has her end day
Go find some barn
Do a field hand

Distract yourself with grit
and toothpaste
Study architecture
Take up knitting

Just shut up already
about what you’ve lost
Knock back a few drinks
Deal the cards

Shuffle the deck

  1. It was very good, fine and effective, and it reminds me the poems of IRANIAN greet poet ” Omar

Khayyam ” ; especially one of his poems that I hereby write for you:

I can`t live without the sparkling vintage

can`t bear the body`s burden without wine

I`m a slave to that last gasp when the wine-server says

    Have another ,and I can`t.
